THE JABBER WAULKIE

Seneca Lake is the deepest of New York’s Finger Lakes with a depth of 618 feet.  Legend has it the Jabber Waulkie is the monster from the depths of Seneca lake believed to protect the lake waters by day and the surrounding vineyards by night.  J.R. Dill Winery’s sweet wines are named after this legendary creature.
